Payment Plan Overview

PAYMENT BEFORE YOUR OPERATION

Surgery Savings Plans

A special-purpose savings fund may be an option for patients who want to save up the funds to pay for their surgery before having their operation.

To save on mortgage interest, you can also choose to pay your mortgage ‘down’ in advance then redraw the extra money when you’re ready to have surgery.

WAYS TO PAY FOR YOUR PLASTIC SURGERY

  1. Start a Special Purpose Savings Fund.
There are a range of special-purpose savings accounts including ING, Bankwest, ME Bank, St George, HSBC, Bank of Melbourne & Rabobank. Visit www.finder.com.au/savings-accounts.
  2. Reduce your Home Loan Interest by using your Home Loan to Save Up.

This is most likely to apply to Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck), Breast ReductionBody Lift Surgery after massive weight loss, Nose Surgery and Eyelid Lifts. The ATO  will assess Early Super Fund Access for medical procedures that treat life-threatening illnesses & chronic pain. The final decision will be made by your Super Fund. 4. External Medical Finance Companies and Banks.
Lastly, there are a number of reputable external companies that offer medical payment plans to suit all types of applicants – you can Google “Medical finance companies”
